10. The cases and conditions that authorize the requirement to pay the insurance contribution past the due date to retain the right of vehicle operation follow the rules set out by the Regulation respecting road vehicle registration (chapter C-24.2, r. 29) concerning the cases and conditions that allow for claiming the fees payable to retain the right of vehicle operation beyond the due date, by respectively replacing the annual and monthly amounts covered under the rules by the annual insurance contribution set in sections 2 and 3, before adjustment under section 45, and the monthly insurance contribution specified in section 6. The amount resulting from the calculation is then adjusted in accordance with section 45.
